Governor Warner bust unveiling - May 11, 2006 DICK CARVEL, long-time Mansion volunteer, and MARTHA WARNER MURPHY, share a laugh as Murphy talked about her childhood adventures at the home of her great-grandparents, Governor Fred and Martha Warner. Several Warner family members attended. DICK CARVEL and MAYOR JOANNE MCSHANE congratulate artist Bernadette Zahara-Marcos, who was commissioned to create the bust of Governor Fred Warner, Michigan's only governor to serve three consecutive terms. Classical Brunch at the Governor Warner Mansion - June 3, 2006 A variety of musical groups played in the gazebothroughout the afternoon. Entertainment moved into the Mansion briefly when a light rain began to fall. CHEF TIM GILSON from GALA RESTAURANT prepared omelets to order all afternoon. A few brave souls remained undeterred by sprinkles that fell late in the afternoon, but heavier rains soon drove everyone under a canopy to enjoy a flute, harp and violin trio from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
